I have been STRUGGLING with PrintShop 23.1 for some time on Windows 7!
I keep asking if there is a later version that works correctly but apparently not.

I am trying to overprint an area on a 4 x 9 rack card.
When I setup what I need to print it looks OK ON THE SCREEN.
When I select print and TRY to setup the printer for 4 x 9 form sometimes it will not save these values.
At times it screws up what is on the screen other times it reverts to 8.5 X 11.

In Word this functions flawlessly but I need more control over paragraph spacing.

I ran a computer consulting company for 13 years and still write a little code in "C".
PrintShop is the quirkiest product I have seen in all my life.
Surely there must be something better.

This version is the best for Win7. Print Shop has a consistent rule for printer setup: Your printer's default paper size determines the page size for projects you open. Therefore, change the default size to the paper size you will actually be putting into your printer.

You do not say whether you are using a custom-size paper or letter size. With letter size, you can do two rack cards per sheet. Is this what you are trying to do?

Or do you have pre-cut 4x9 papers? If this is the case, you need to change your printer setup for 4x9 paper size. However you mentioned "over print an area", so I gather you have included a bleed area which means your paper should be larger, allowing you to crop to 4x9. e.g. If the paper you are inserting into your printer has been pre-cut to 4.25x9.25, that's the size you must have for the printer setup.

Your project page size must also match your paper size, NOT the size after cutting. (unless you are doing a multi-up project such as label.)
