I have tried to export my embellished picture thru PS 2.0 to my documents. I send as a jpeg so that it might go to my computer pictures. However, when I open it, it keeps opening into PS. I was to export this embellished picture to make a Christmas card thru Walmart....HELP PLEASE, I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING! Freda Greene

You may be accidentally double clicking on the project file and the program opens. Try saving as a JPG again and note the folder that the program saves to.

You do not need to open the JPG. Go to the WalMart site's page where they ask you to upload the file. Follow their directions.

Not sure what you mean, but "send as a jpeg" doesn't automatically put it into "my computer pictures". You usually have to tell the computer where you want the file saved. Otherwise, the file saves to a default location so take note of where that is so you can find it.

Print Shop can't open JPG files with a double-click. JPG files can only be imported into a Print Shop project. I suspect you are actually double-clicking a PS project file, not a JPG file, as Jason has just mentioned.

By the way, I like getting prints done at WalMart, too. With The Print Shop, I have designed cards in 4x6 size, exported as high res JPG, then uploaded the JPG to WalMart. I don't do color printing at home anymore. The cost of blank photo paper and quality ink far exceeds the cost of getting the prints made by WalMart and other online printing services.

Here's a Print Shop article about making JPGs and having them professionally printed. It's for version 3.5, but the concept is exactly the same for all graphic programs.
