A long story short, when my 32 bit desk top running "XP" died, it took with it all my ADOBE CS2 and COREL 10 graphics
programs where they themselves became obsolete. I happily replaced all my graphics programs with "PP" 3.5 as the core
along with Graphic design Studio, MOVAVI Photo Editor along with Inkscape. Actually all these programs are more user
friendly than the former programs.
What has made things easier to learn is that I invested the time an cost of materials to download and print out the user
manuals for all these programs which I keep at my desk for reference. I have A comb binder where I've bound all the
pages. A three ring binder will do the same thing. There are so many features available in these programs that trying
to memorize them would be almost impossible. So far I've established some repeatable routines through trial and error
to quickly start a new project.

QUESTION: Are there any other folk on the forum that takes my approach ?

Just as aside, I have a friend who just bought "PP" who has called me at least once a day asking for help on "PP".
This morning when he called the solution is by "cliking" on F1 where the "PP" user manual will come up that you should
download and print out ! I also told him to join the forum !

"Cheers !" The happy spider

I'm not sure I understand the abbreviations you are using in your post. Did you mean to say PS 3.5?

Please clarify :)

While I do not print out the user manuals, my approach is similar which is to say read the manual. Cover the basics first, then practise. A lot of people frustrate themselves by jumping into a new program with a deadline to complete a project, rather than learning how to use the program first and practising what they learn on test projects.
