Cannot get the software (print shop 4.0) to print 'double-sided' 2 step note cards. Prints first step with normal functionality,
then when pages are placed back in the printer with the instructions and per the instructions and the dialog box is clicked
absolutely nothing happens.

Toshiba Satellite C855D
Windows 10
AMD A6-4400M processor
4.00 Ram

This software was bought as an 'upgrade' to Americans Greetings 'CreateaCard Gold 8' which had the same functionality with regard
to double-sided printed cards. The print function with this software works perfectly

This sounds like you are correctly doing the steps for double-sided printing so this is not a functionality problem. It's likely a technical problem, such as an incompatibility issue between your printer/program/operating system. Perhaps there is a Win10 compatible printer driver for your model of printer that will solve the problem.

The workaround is to select single-sided printing. Print side one and side two as 2 separate print jobs.

Thanks a million for the comeback, unfortunately this didn't make any difference. Downloaded and installed current Epson WF-2540 driver package epson15708.exe which indicates it is windows 10 compatible.

Will try the workaround.

Darn, I was hoping the updated driver would do the trick.

It's been my experience that PDFs are almost always print-problem-free. So another option would be to save your project as PDF. Then open and print the PDF with Adobe Reader, using its double-sided printing option.
