Printing Problem with number of copies

I have PrintMaster Platinum V6.0, Platinum Version 18, and Print Shop Pro Publisher Deluxe Version 20. Since installing PrintMaster Platinum 18 anytime I use any one of the 3 versions if I want more than 1 copy it will continue to print until I forceably stop it. How can I get it to print the exact number of copies I have indicated for it to print? This is very frustrating.

Check your printer's manufacturer's website for the most current driver for your printer model and OS. Download and install the new driver. If you already have the most current driver, try re-installing it.

Ellengard...thanks for responding. I checked with my printer website and I had the most recent driver so I reinstalled it and I am still having the same problem. Any time I print from any other site it works fine just the PrintMaster Platinum V6.0, Platinum Version 18, and Print Shop Pro Publisher Deluxe Version 20 give me this problem. Will I lose all of my projects on these 3 programs if I uninstall them and reinstall them??? Do you think that this might help???

I believe the project files for all 3 of those programs, are saved in My Documents, but you should confirm that on your own computer. That means your project files will not be deleted should you uninstall those programs.

I am not a tech expert, but I suspect that the order in which you installed those programs, caused your problem. From your first post, it sounds like you installed PrintMaster Platinum 18 last? If that is the case, try reinstalling V6.0 which will make it the "last" installed program. I hope that fixes your problem. If not, submit a tech support ticket here:

and include the fact that you have already reinstalled the latest printer driver so they can eliminate that as the solution.

You did not mention what operating system you were using. This can have a big effect on this behavior you described.

this problem is an indicator that either 1) the printer is not compatible with the Operating System OR 2) the printer is not compatible with the software OR 3) the printer does not have the most current driver installed for both the Operating System and the version of the OS (32-bit or 64-bit). And, as can be seen in that FAQ, this problem often occurs when a Canon printer is being used.

It has also been determined that the problem can also be caused when the printer manufacturer does not offer a compatible driver for the OS that is being used.
