Titles in mail merge don't appear - 2/13/2018 10:02:16 AM    Computer Projects   Posts: 4 Joined: 2/13/2018 Status: offline I filled in my address book with my contacts. However when trying to put a period after Mr. and Mrs. I couldn't put the periods. When I preview my envelopes in Mail Merge the titles don't appear on the envelopes. How do I fix these problems? If you're unsure of what fields you used go back into your address book and write them down before inserting them on your label. Perhaps you have Title and Middle Initial confused. In the Address Book, the MI field only allows one character, so it's true that you can't add a period after the letter. Also, the MI field does not show up in the drop list next to the Insert field button, so it is not possible to get the MI to print onto your envelope (unless you repurpose an unused data field like "Custom 1 Value". When typing into the Address Book, The Title field does allow a period. When you set up your mail merge, you must select Title from the drop down list next to the Insert field button.
