It's not often that this feature is used as it is generally not required for most projects. Where it is most practical is on multi-page projects such as Newsletter or Web projects. A Master Page contains the graphics and text that you want to appear on all subsequent pages so that you don't have to duplicate those elements for every page. A typical example is having your business logo and contact information appearing on every page, in the exact same size and position, for a consistent look. Sorry if I am telling you something you already know. Is your question that you can't get the Master Page to work?
