Afterinstalling the program, when I run it, the program runs very slow during the opening screens. After I do finally go to slots, or poker the program rins find. I have tried repairing the program, uninstalling and reinstalling, but that does not help. Any suggestions?

Try running with your virus scanner disabled. A lot of the virus scanners cause the Hoyle programs to load very slowly. If this resolves your problem, you can add the program to the virus scanner's exception list.

Do you have the CD in the drive while playing this game. Some copies of the game pressed at the factory unfortunently had this problem when playing this game with the disc still in the drive.

you dont need it in there to play.
