Hi nightcall, It is not possible to set a priority for a specific category. So, the priorities must be set manually for each event. Since I have a tendency to forget to set the priority when I create an event, I assign priorities in the Event List instead of in the actual calendar. After I select 'Show Event List', the first thing I will do is to click on 'Category' to sort the Event List by Category. Then, I will click the Priority for the first event in a specific category, type the desired Priority in the box then press the 'Down' arrow. This will take me to the next event in the list, where I will type the desired Priority in the box and press the 'Down' arrow again. I will repeat this process until I have entered all desired priorities. And, when I am finished, I can see, at a glance, whether or not all priorities are correct. Since you said that you have entered the same events hundreds of times, I'm guessing that you are creating a new calendar file for each month - because if you weren't creating a new calendar file you would soon have hundreds of duplicate events in the Event List. If you are, actually, typing the same or similar events into each new calendar file you create, DEJenc3's idea about creating boilerplate events with the Categories assigned might be quite workable for you. If you were to import the events from a previous month's calendar, the Categories and Priorities would already be assigned. So, the only changes that would be required might be for 1) the dates on which the events are supposed to occur and 2) Start Time and End Time, if you use those fields. And, those changes could also be made on the Event List rather than on the actual calendar. For those events that you don't want to appear on a specific month calendar, you could click on the X in the left column of the event to remove the X (only events with an X will appear on the calendar). Even when there is no X in the left column, those events without an X would still import into a new calendar file. So, whenever you want to use that event again, all you would have to do is to replace the X.
