When PrintMaster 18 is installed on any Operating System, the first thing that will happen is that the installation process will check to see if .net Framework 1.1 is already installed - because PrintMaster 18 cannot function without .net Framework 1.1.

If .net Framework 1.1 is not already installed, the installation process will install .net Framework 1.1 BEFORE proceeding to the actual installation of PrintMaster 18.

When I installed PrintMaster 18 on WinVista, .net Framework 1.1 was installed (as expected). But, after the .net Framework 1.1 installation had finished and before the actual PrintMaster 18 installation had begun, I received an error message which said that InstallShield was not responding. By the time I had opened Task Manager to make sure that the installation process was truly not responding, the installation process had continued on its own.

So, if you ever encounter a 'Not Responding' situation while attempting to install PrintMaster 18 on WinVista, just wait a minute or two to see if the installation will proceed on its own.
