Font size decreases - 4/18/2009 5:26:40 PM    cykh   Posts: 1 Joined: 4/18/2009 Status: offline Hello! I have created a four-panel legal-size brochure in Print Shop Deluxe 23. Immediately when I click on "File, Print" the font immediately decreases from an size 11 to a size 8. The project prints on the full page horizontally, in four panels, just as it should. But there are 3-4 inches of blank space at the bottom of each column, because the font is so small. Please help. Post #: 1

RE: Font size decreases - 4/18/2009 5:44:13 PM    Brandy redux Posts: 2376 Joined: 2/7/2007 Status: offline Hi cykh, I suspect that your problem is being caused by the fact that your printer's Paper Size is set to 8 1/2" x 11" Letter size INSTEAD OF the 8 1/2" x 14" Legal size. To check this fact, click on File | Printing | Print Setup. The problem you are experiencing is caused by the fact that when you Create and Save a Legal-Size brochure, then re-open that Legal-Size brochure, that brochure will not automatically open at Legal Size. Instead, it will open at the Paper Size that is set for the default printer. And, since most default printers are set to 8 1/2" x 11" Letter size paper, the brochure will open at that size. To force your four-panel legal-size brochure to open in Print Shop Deluxe 23 at the 8 1/2" x 14" Legal size, you must go into Print Setup BEFORE opening that brochure and change the Paper Size for the printer to 8 1/2" x 14". NOTE: If you ever save your four-panel legal-size brochure while the Paper Size for the printer is set to 8 1/2" x 11" Letter size, the fonts will be saved at the smaller size.
