Even though the PDF driver in Calendar Creator 12.1 has been tweaked to make it more compatible with Windows 7 than earlier versions of Calendar Creator, it is very important to keep in mind that the PDF driver which is installed with Calendar Creator 12.1 will work correctly ONLY when Calendar Creator 12.1 is the last Broderbund/Encore product to be installed on Windows 7.

If one of the following Broderbund/Encore products

* Print Shop 23 or earlier

* PrintMaster 18 or earlier

* Calendar Creator 12 or earlier

is installed AFTER Calendar Creator 12.1, that program will install a Broderbund PDF driver which will overwrite the Calendar Creator 12.1 PDF driver. Then, the 'Save as PDF' option will no longer work for any Broderbund/Encore product - because the Broderbund PDF driver which is installed with older Broderbund/Encore products is not compatible with Windows 7.

If the 'Save as PDF' option in Calendar Creator 12.1 doesn't work even when Calendar Creator 12.1 is the last Broderbund/Encore product to be installed on Windows 7, you *might* be able to fix the problem by clicking on the link below

http://support.encore.com/technicalsupport/kb.aspx?kb_id=1052&product_id=2685

then following the directions in that Technical Note.

To work around any difficulties which occur when the Save as PDF option is selected on Windows 7, I always recommend that users install an alternate PDF driver, then 'Print to PDF' instead of 'Save as PDF' - as is described in this FAQ

http://forums.encoreusa.com/tm.asp?m=40318&mpage=1&key=

NOTE: Even though it would be logical to assume that the same PDF driver is installed with Print Shop 23.1, PrintMaster 18.1 and Calendar Creator 12.1, I have not yet been able to confirm that fact.
