Export or Save as PDF Resolution - 4/1/2013 4:55:50 PM    skent3@qwest.net   Posts: 17 Joined: 5/18/2012 Status: offline I use Print Shop 23.1 Deluxe. Is there a way to actually output or export higher resolutions than 600dpi for 1920 x 1080 displays? Is there an upgrade or a newer version that would provide it? I love most of Print Shop, but would love to change or upgrade a few options. thank you Post #: 1

If aspect ratio is fixed, let the program determine the number of pixels high. 1920 x 1080 is not large. A 10"x8" photo at 300 dpi is 3000 pixels x 2400 pixels. Keeping a 16x9 ratio, I need to get the highest dpi resolution possible. Getting close is 3840 x 2160. However on a large screen it just isn't enough ... is there a way to take it a lot higher on export ... or save as pdf at a higher than 600 dpi? Thank you. (in reply to skent3@qwest.net) Post #: 3

Anything bigger than 1920x1080 does not make any difference on a 47" tv, unless you wish to zoom in on portions of the screen. A Print Shop project 8.5 x 11, saved at 600 dpi, is 5100 x 6600. Is that big enough? This is too big for display on 47" screen tv. Do a tabloid size project if you want bigger. Export at 600 dpi, which is the max. Saving at superhigh resolution can be meaningless, if the photos you import are less than 600 dpi.
