I feel silly asking this when all the posts I have read sound so technical, but I can't find how to make a sheet of labels, each with a different text. I can't access help from my print shop 23 standard--keep getting " Microshot OLE DB Provider for SQL server error 8004 oe 31. time expired. 'redirect.asp.line75"?
I have an HP All-in-One desk top computer w/Windows 8, 64 bit, 4.0 GB , ADM E1-1200APU.

You are talking about mail merging. I am not sure that the standard version has the mail merge feature. Click Tools and see if that allows you to create an Address Book. If your standard version does not include making an Address Book, then that means you can't mail merge.

If mail merge is a feature in the standard version, you will find all the instructions in the Print Shop Help Center Tutorials. (choose show text rather than show movie)

The alternative to mail merging is somewhat tedious, but doable. Start a new label sheet project. It must show all the labels on the page. Add your text onto label 1. Then do label 2 and so on.

Thanks for your answer to my post. The info was most helpful!
How do I pull up a label sheet? When I choose my project and insert the label #, it brings up a single label and I don't know how to access any more??

How do I pull up a label sheet?

Choose the Start From Scratch label sheet project. Let me know if standard version does not have label sheet projects and I will come up with a workaround.

I got your email where you said that standard version does not include label sheet projects.

If you decide that you want label sheet projects as well as mail merging, I recommend The Print Shop 23.1 Deluxe/Professional or PrintMaster Platinum 18.1. Both of these programs are Win 7 compatible and are so similar that they can open projects made in the other.

PrintMaster is also less expensive.

In the meantime, if you need to get these labels done, tell me which Avery stock number you are using and I can make a template for you.
