I seem to have an issue with a new copy of Hoyle Puzzle and Board Games 2010. The software starts to install but at a certain point I get the following message: "Error 1308. Source file not found: G:\Hoyle\Program Files\Encore\Hoyle Classic\Hoyle Puzzle and Board Classic\.DS_Store Verify that the file exists and that you can access it."

I did a search on the DVD via the path that the error message is showing and the file: .DS_Store isn't in the directory. If I click to Ignore the error the software successfully installs.

However, if I play Word Yacht the score sheet remains blank and will not show the name of the current player, the category that the current word will go into depending on the length of the word. Also the word list doesn't show the words you have entered during your go.

I get a similar issue with Yacht in that the score sheet is blank, doesn't show the name of the current player and won't show the score for whichever category of dice you used during your go.

I am sure this issue is linked to the missing installation file: .DS_Store so any assistance on this matter would be helpful. I have tried uninstalling the software and re-installing it but the same installation error shows up.

The PC is running Windows 8.1 64 Bit version and the PC is much higher than the specification needed to run the software.
