It is likely an incompatibility problem similar to what is described here:
http://forums.encoreusa.com/tm.asp?m=27923

The thread contains a workaround solution.

Thanks very much and my printer is the Epson Stylus PHOTO R 800 and it does the same as those you sent me to. Guess I will just use the work around as Broderbund does not support 20 and I can find no drivers or other fixes. Thanks Much. Lew

That thread is from 2007 and is locked (closed). It is pinned to the top of the PS Printing Specific Issues subforum as a "resource document". That is how I found it for you.

Dear Ellengard
I am probably up the wrong tree!! I have a Windows 7 operating system and I have just added my address book to Print Shop 15
My problem is that it will not print. I have tried Mail Merge. All the elements have question marks after them and, either they all print one on top of the other or not at all, so all I get is 21 copies of the artwork. Can any help or do I need to buy a more up tp date version?
KInd Regards
Patrick Jordan

Print Shop 15 may run on Win 7, but it is not 100% compatible with it. Did you successfully mail merge using Print Shop 15 on Win XP? If so, then it is likely you are doing the mail merge procedure correctly, but this old program's mail merge function doesn't work on Win 7.

When you insert the mail merge fields, you are supposed to see the question marks. Are you saying that your labels print "First Name?", rather than the first name of the receiver that you selected out of your address book?
