printer and 3.5.2 don't communicate

Status: offline 		when I click print for any project in 3.5.2 the printer box shows fax I have to change it every time to my HP 3510 series how can I fix this so it knows it is suppose to print instead of fax?

Status: offline 		HP printers have been known to be less than 100% compatible with Broderbund programs. However, it's possible that the problem can be fixed simply by installing the most current HP 3510 printer driver for your operating system. Check the HP website to see the latest drivers.

Status: offline 		I spent 53 minutes on the phone with HP printer technician. The facts are that the HP 3510 series of HP Printer will not print a half page envelope which is( A9 8.75 wide by 5.75 high) my printer is a new 3512 printer but in the 3510 series so those of you out there with a printer like this can't print on a HP for the half page envelopes.

Status: offline 		If you do a Sign, Landscape, 8.5 x 5.5, could you fool your HP into printing it onto your envelope?

Status: offline 		I tried that sometime ago it printed but did'nt print like I had made it margins were off however I will try agian and let you know

Easy workaround for that. For example, if your text prints half an inch too far to the right, move your text box a quarter inch to the left. Even if it looks wrong on the screen, it doesn't matter - the print is what matters.

I used to do this all the time when my printer became "too old" for my upgraded computer and it was no longer 100% compatible.

Status: offline 		My printer is new my computer is also new. I tried to make a sign to print in landscape didn't work then I tried to make a template in Photo's didn't work however I will keep trying, because there are lots of templates for half page greeting. Thanks

The program works so much better with a compatible operating system. Encore has a refund policy available to you. Perhaps get your money back and wait for when the 8.1 compatible program comes out?

I was trying to work with the Print shop 3.5 again yesterday it kept crashing and the photo part does not work when I copied and pasted the pictures they came out all fuzzy and that was the only way I could get a photo in to my project because every time I clicked the photo tab the photos that I had previously imported would not show up then I would click the import button and like so many times before all I got was a fluttering on the monitor. This has been happening periodically but if I shut down the program and opened it again sometimes the photos that I had imported would load but now it will not. I('m having other problems with the program but I just have company arriving for the holidays so I will try to deal with this later. I have used Print shop for years and I so much want it to work right but this one is really bad.

The problems you are having simply don't exist when the program is installed on a compatible operating system. That means Win 7 or 8, NOT 8.1. You will be pulling your hair out if you keep trying to use this program on Win 8.1. Perseverance will not improve results. The same is true with Print Shop 23.1 (the last version of the Print Shop that you used to use). NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WIN 8.1.

Status: offline 		Please don't stress out trying to get this program to work on Win 8.1. If you have a project that you really want to finish, I'll be happy to help you out from my end, using Win 7. Let me know what template you want to use. Maybe I can work it into a Word doc for you and you can add your text to the Word doc and print it.
