hello all,

I have Calender Creator Deluxe V12 and can anyone tell me WHY what I see on the screen on my calenders is not the same when I print a calender.

I'm going thru too much wasted paper trying to change font sizes and then printing to see if its right.

My screen resolution is 1680 x 1050 and when I used to use my very old version of CC 1.0 from power up there was never a problem even at the same resolution, the only reason why I can't use my old version because my new computer is a windows 7 pro 64 bit and for some reason can't install in.

Maybe some has an idea how to install my old version on my new computer because this version isn't very good

Why do they take a good working program and make it worse?????????

Any help would be apreciated

Hello, ramblnmn,

The first question I'd have with a printing issue is whether you have a multi-function printer? Calendar Creator has known issues with multi-function printers.

A workaround, and a good way to start testing your issue: Print your calendar to a pdf file. You can use a free pdf printer such as Cute PDF. If the pdf looks the same as your calendar, that would be a good sign that the calendar SHOULD be able to be printed correctly. If you can print the pdf of the calendar with no problem, then it could be an incompatibility with the printer and the Calendar Creator program, going back to the multi-function issue.

You may find that you'll want to print to pdf as a routine, if that works now.

You're unlikely to be able to run CC 1.0 on a 64-bit system.

The different views you see on the screen are not what gets printed. You have to go through the process of setting up your print options (e.g. selecting portrait vs landscape orientation, setting margins, selecting paper size, etc.) Then do the print preview. Don't print if the print preview isn't perfect.
