How do I access prior projects on Print Shop 23.1? For that matter, how do I even open this ??? thing? (I've been trying for an hour). Two discs: Program Disc and Art Disc. Can't get either one to do anything other than load on my PC.
HELP, please. I need to make a wedding certificate, and I am running out of time. Thanks.

Please see this thread. It will let you know which older versions are compatible with version 23.1, and how to open those older projects in version 23.1.

The program disc and art disc cannot be "opened". If you have installed the contents, the templates and art will be available through the program's project and art galleries. Otherwise, the program will prompt you to insert the proper disc into your computer, should you select something from the galleries that was not installed.

Sorry I wasn't clear. The projects are ALREADY in Print Shop 23.1. I used them last year. I cannot access them to modify for this year's job -- in fact, I cannot even access anything on the discs.

You mean you can't even get the Project Gallery to show?

Nope. Here's what I get:
NO ERROR MESSAGE. WHEN I INSERT THE DISC, I HAVE TWO OPTIONS:

RUN SETUP.EXE OR OPEN FOLDER TO VIEW FILES.

RUN SETUP.EXE GIVES NO VISIBLE RESULT.

OPEN FOLDER TO VIEW FILES GIVES THE FOLLOWING CHOICES:

(THIS IS CODE FROM THE PROGRAM DISC) FILES CURRENTLY ON THE DISC (6)
SETUP FILE FOLDER
AUTORUN SETUP INFORMATION
PSDLX23DVDINST.ID ID FILE
README FIREFOX HTML DOC
SETUP.CFG CFG FILE
SETUP APPLICATION
FILES READY TO BE WRITTEN TO DISC (1)
DESKTOP CONFIGURATION SETTINGS

(THIS IS CODE FROM THE ART DISC)

FILES CURRENTLY ON THE DISC (4)
SETUP FILE FOLDER
AUTODISABLE APPLICATION
AUTORUN SETUP INFORMATION
PSPRO23DVDARTDISC1.ID ID FILE

FILES READY TO BE WRITTEN TO THE DISC (1)
DESKTOP CONFIGURATION SETTINGS

Thanks.

If this program is already installed on your computer, do not try to run the program from the disk. Just start the program like you would any program e.g. from a desktop shortcut or the Windows start button.

There's no problem here. You haven't opened the program yet. Once you do, you can choose a template.

Hello.
That got me as far as opening the program. But all it allows me to do is to create NEW certificates. It does not allow me to access the old ones.
Thanks.

From the Project Picker, click Open My Projects. Assuming you did save your project the last time you worked on it, you will find it in the My Projects tab.

I appreciate your diligence here. However, I cannot locate "project picker"

Here are the tabs on the page (titled "Poster 1" )
New Projects / Art and Photos / Text tools / Effects / Custom Graphics / Photo Tools / Drawing Tools / Addresses-Events / Finish Project / Get More

Is there another location to look?

Thanks.

Click the down arrow next to New Projects. Go directly to My Projects. Or choose Project Picker - you'll still get there.

That seems to do it.
The arrow next to New Projects isn't visible. Clicking at the edge produced a drop down menu.
Once I guessed that the title was "certificates", they appeared.

Thanks!

One other issue: Do you know how I can copy text from a web site to put on the certificate? It's the name of the facility a wedding will be held at, to put on the certificate. I want to use their typeface and logo (it also includes images of giraffes). I have scanned it into the computer, but can't access it to put it on the certificate.
Thanks.

Images from websites are copyright. If you obtain permission, they may send you their high quality image files for printing purposes. Screen size web images are not high resolution enough for quality printing.
