My cc wasn't saved correctly by adobe acrobat, and it claims not to be able to find it. Any thoughts?

We generally recommend bypassing the PDF options within Calendar Creator, and instead using a third-party pdf printer program; Please see this post:

That is not how Adobe Acrobat is used. It is for opening and editing PDF files.

Do you mean you are trying to create a PDF? If so, you must print a date range from your CC calendar. Go to Print. Select a date range. Select your desired PDF printer and send the print command to it. Win 10 has a PDF writer. That is probably the easiest one to use since you already have it.

I'm not trying to do anything but to be able to open this calendar. I saved it as a new collection after it wouldn't reopen regularly. Now I am getting rhe error message

Now I'm very confused. I'm unaware of any option to save a Calendar Creator collection as anything other than another Calendar Creator collection. You didn't mention "pdf" in your post, so I can't think of any other way Adobe Acrobat could figure into any use with Calendar Creator. Perhaps you can explain each step of what you did, and how you are going about trying to open the collection.

If trying to open your file gives you an error message, one explanation is that the file is corrupted. From your previous posts, it sounds like you were attempting to merge 3 calendars together, then try to mass delete all the duplicate events. I suggest you go back to one of your original calendars and simply type in the few events that it is missing.

I am also not understanding how Adobe Acrobat would play into this. This is no way Adobe Acrobat could open a .bcc file.

Microsoft Print to PDF is easier. CutePDF is supposed to be nice too but I prefer FoxIt Reader.

It has a built in PDF printer and it's 100% compatible under Windows 10

I'm glad it worked out. As long as you can open the calendar, make changes, add events, and save it, you should be all right. I'll recommend that you copy the working .bcc file to another location as a backup.

What is the full name and path of the file, and most important is the extension, which must be .bcc?

Calendar Creator will only open .bcc files. If you are double-clicking a .bcc file and it doesn't work, try opening the file from inside the program. i.e. Open Calendar Creator first. Then File> Open... browse to where your .bcc file is saved.

When I do open collection, I hace no path to .bcc

Is windows ten confusing the program, and its' operator?

That is not a .bcc file. That is a PDF. If you can't open your PDF, it is because you did not create it properly. Reread post #3 about choosing a date range on Calendar Creator.

When in Calendar Creator, and you choose from the menu: File, Open:
What path do you see at top as the place where you are searching? Do you not see any .bcc files at all, since this is the default file type that CC wants to open?

I see no relationship to a printer problem. I need to be able to change the extension on the document. I've tried to change it to .bcc, but it still wants to use acrobat to open the file, which, of course doesn't work

Forget the printer issue. Somehow you've ended up with a file with a .pdf extension, whether you changed the original extension, or you output the CC calendar to pdf (and we have yet to learn how you went about doing that). You need to do what ellengard suggested: search your drive(s) for *.bcc files and identify the original calendar(s) you created with Calendar Creator, and forget for the time being anything with a .pdf extension, since it will NOT work in Calendar Creator, was not created by Calendar Creator, and can't be edited in Calendar Creator.

You cannot just take a file and change its extension to .bcc! Only Calendar Creator can create and save a .bcc file. Only such a .bcc file can be opened in Calendar Creator.
