Just bought a new Dell laptop with windows 10 installed. (64bit) I thought the program installed perfectly. I was wrong. I am unable to type in any letters in the text boxes. The blinking curser never appears!! I am able to add text boxes and move and resize them, just can't type anything in them! SO FRUSTRATING. Please help, any suggestions??

This is a very old program which is not compatible with Win 10, but you can try a different compatibility mode. Does everything else work i.e. adding graphics? If so, you could complete your design without text, export the page as hi-res JPG, then bring that JPG into a Win 10 graphics program where you can add text.

If you have an older working computer, I'd suggest keeping it running with CKSD.

Just a thought: type something in Notepad and see if it will copy/paste into the text box.
