To change these features, look in the cell properties: right-click in a cell, preferably one with no events. Click the choice for Properties. In the Style tab, you'll see a drop-down selector that defaults to Current Cell. Change the drop-down selection to Cell (assuming that you want to change the properties for all cells, not just the current one). To the right of the font name, you'll see buttons for different properties of the text. At far right is a little box of squares with colors like a Rubik's Cube. Click it and select the color that you want. This should change the font for all the dates. Likewise, there are buttons for justification, similar to what you see in a word processing program, with 4 horizontal lines. Click the one that shows the lines left-justified, and this will change the text date text.
