Hoping someone can help me. Every since I got windows 10 I cannot get my Print Shop 4.0 Professional to work. I am getting the following error window:

I found instructions how to fix for windows XP and windows 7, but windows 10 is just different enough that I only get to step 8, and then things go awry.

Can anyone help?

Under Windows 10, you need to go into the File Explorer Window.

Click on the word View and then enable hidden items.

The error message you posted, You need to go to the following directory:

C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local

Inside the Local Folder, double click on The Print Shop folder.

Then double click on The Print Shop 4.0 (either Deluxe or Professional whatever you have)

Then, delete the UserData.psdb file and restart the program.

It should work for you.

TMLFFAN4LIFE,

I really appreciate your response. I"m on a work computer but have admin privileges.

I went to C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local and The Print Shop folder is not there.

Since it is a work computer I searched under Admin, All Users, my name and I could not find any The Print Shop folder.

I searched for the Print Shop folder and I found one under C:\\ProgramData. In there I have The Print Shop 4.0 Professional and within that I have a file named master.psDb. I renamed it and then tried to open Print Shop and I then got this error:

I couldn't find any file named UserData.psdb.

Any other ideas?

I apologize for the delay in response as I was out and about all day.

This seems like something we may need to communicate via live support.

Can you send a support ticket in? The link to send in a ticket is in my signature. Mention that you spoke to me on the forums and I can give you the information you need to contact us over the phone.

Thanks TMLFAN4life, I have not been able to login to the ticket page. It won’t send me an email with my password, and I can’t sign up because it says my email already exists.

I’ll call later today and see if you can help me with that also!

That’s why I ended up posting on the forums.

Dawn
