Windows 10
Working on a greeting card project and trying to change a headline.
The program locked up.
I closed out all applications and restarted my computer.
When I opened PM8 it was still locked up and wouldn't let me make any changes.
I closed all apps, and shut down my computer again and restarted my computer.
When I opened the PM8 app again and opened the project, it was still locked up.
Can anyone help me? Thank you.

As mentioned before, PM8 is not supported in Win 10, so getting the program to work properly can be hit and miss. Could be the latest Win 10 updates broke the program again. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling.

When you uninstall PM8, there is a folder left behind in C:\Users\Public called Story Rock. Delete the Story Rock folder and then re-install PM8. Temporarily disable anti-virus program during the installation procedure.

Hope this will get you another year of use with this program.

I know the prospect of PM8 no longer working on Win 10 is bleak. At some point, the content server will no longer download to discontinued products, as well. When this happens, you could make half fold cards with your LibreOffice and high quality images from mymemories.com (Printmaster Packs has merged with them) MyMemories has a huge online store of print quality graphics and offers tons of free images too!

I made this card with one of their free kits.

I just checked at the site. Items are free for a limited time, so the Winter Blues Mini Kit is now $2.

Thanks Linda.
I have made a few cards this month and no problems.
I really like some of the features of PM8, like using my photos for the background.
However, I can't afford buying a new program every time a new one comes out.
But, I guess that is how these companies, Microsoft, Encore, etc their money
Kind of like Apple coming our with a new phone every year. lol
I will try your suggestions and see what happens.
Thanks again
Dallas

My Memories and the Scrap Book Suite were awesome products. Is there something that stands out with this program that maybe we can add in the newer versions of the products?

If memory serves me correct, the PM V8 was loosely based off the Scrapbook Suite etc.
