Hi Sarah,
If you are referring to text boxes that you create yourself, you will need to turn on word wrap if you when you want multiple lines of text. To do this, double-click on the text box. When the Text Object Properties window opens, click on the Special Effects tab. On the Special Effects tab, click in the box next to Wrap Words, then click on OK. The text box should now display the text with multiple lines.
