Brandy redux -> The current version of the application could not be determined (12/12/2009 12:19:02 PM)

Problem
Error message "The current version of the application could not be determined. The setup will terminate now."
Solution
*Click on the Start button.
*Click on Run.
*Type C:\Program Files\Common Files into the text box and press OK.
*Right-click on the InstallShield folder, and choose rename.
*Change the name to InstallShieldOld.
*Start the game installation again to reinstall the InstallShield components with the newest version.
