Hi jeno,
Since the Foreign Language section of both Middle School Advantage 2010 and 2011 work exactly as designed on both my 64-bit Windows 7 and my Snow Leopard Mac, there is no obvious solution to your problem.
The first thing I would recommend is for you to click on the link below

then follow the directions in that pinned item for updating your video card driver.
If updating your video card driver does not solve your problem, please post back and answer the following questions:
1. Which version of Middle School Advantage are you using?
2. Which Operating System are you using?
3. When you installed Middle School Advantage, did you do a 'clean' install, exactly as described in this FAQ
