mab4642 -> Printing Out a 4X6 Self Made Post Card (9/18/2011 2:53:40 PM)

Made a one-sided PostCard 4x6 and can't get my printer to print it out. I changed from Landscape to Portrait, it didn't work. Put in 8 x 11.5 size paper, didn't work. Using up lots of paper and time to try to get my project finished. Any suggestions?

Do you mean your printer is printing nothing? Or that it prints only part of your postcard?

Can you confirm that your printer is working by printing a test sheet made in NotePad or WordPad?

My printer is working. Only one half of the image is printed in the middle of the post card or on the regular 8 x 11.5 paper.

Let's make sure we are looking at the same program.

  • Are you using PM18?
  • Did you choose a new postcard project or are you editing a ready-made postcard template?
  • Which Avery postcard stock did you choose?

This method is totally foolproof and it makes the most out of expensive card stock. Note: Don't buy the perforated stuff. Save yourself alignment headache.

Open a blank sign project. Add your 4x6 design. Copy and paste it so you can fit 3 on the page like this:

(Don't use the Easy Page project which is supposed to automatically give you three 4x6's. That project is buggy.)
