allkim79 -> Printmaster Gold 4.0 Bonus Pack Code (4/22/2012 8:54:01 PM)

Hi Guys/Gals,

I purchased Printmaster Gold 4.0 Bonus Pack waaayyyy back in 1997 and jumped through the hoops at the time to get the activation code for the bonus pack.

I recently found the box when cleaning out the cupboard and when I re-installed it, I found that the that the paper that the code was on has been destroyed by silverfish.

Just wondering if anybody has the code and is willing to share it with me.

I mainly need it to access a certain picture that I have been using as part of my business logo since 1997 and I would like to get it in a bigger size as I only saved it relatively small at the time.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Kim.

Hi Kim,

Since the Printmaster Gold 4.0 Bonus Pack is so very old, and was originally released for ONLY these Operating Systems

Windows 3.x / 95 / 98

it is quite possible that you will receive no offers for the activation code on this forum.

As to where you said this:

"I mainly need it to access a certain picture that I have been using as part of my business logo since 1997 and I would like to get it in a bigger size as I only saved it relatively small at the time."

If you can still access that logo, you should be able to resize that logo to suit your needs - without the need to access the original picture.

Hi Brandy,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I was just asking in the hope that someone may come in by chance and have the old code. Also, it works flawlessly on XP which I just installed it on today.

As for the up-sizing of the file - I originally only saved it as a small (lo-res) jpeg for use in a letter head. When I blow it up in my software, it has a LOT of gaps.

If I cannot get access to the original again, I am going to have to pay an artist to re-draw it at a higher resolution. Which I don't want to do as I paid $100 for this software back in 1997 and essentially only got this one picture out of it in the end.

Thems the breaks I guess...

It's possible that you may be able to search the internet for a cached page that mentions that code. I recall from over 10 years ago, in the old PrintMaster Expressit user forums, that code being posted.

A lot of the old images from the 1990's are still available in PM18. If you want to post your image, I can try to find it.

For many older Broderbund products, the activation code was nothing more than the 4-digit product code entered in reverse order. However, I no longer remember how to locate the product code for those older product.
