All I want to do is upload a picture in jpeg format from a folder, remove the red eye, and save the picture back in the folder without all the project stuff. Is it possible, and if so, how?

Print Shop 3.0 is designed to be a publishing title for projects such as scrap booking, creating different kinds of cards , etc. It is not intended to be an image editing software from what I've explored in every bit of the programs interface.

You may want to take a look at Photo Plus Essentials because it sounds like this would suit you more for the task you want to accomplish. The product is here : http://www.encore.com/p-459-photoplus-essentials-deluxe.aspx

Once you import your photos to the gallery, you can select Actions to Edit A Copy..., then save that edited copy to a location on your hard drive. Save To Disk
