LJS4RE -> Labels & Logos (10/11/2013 2:07:15 PM)

I have the disk for printing labels & Logos, I have about 100 clients I send mailers out to, I can't figure out how to print on a 30 labels avery paper with multiple name on the labels, it's only coming out with one persons name and address on all 30 labels. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You,
Linda[:)][sm=emot-fyadride.gif]

What program are you using? "Labels & Logos" or "The Print Shop 23.1"? If the latter, then you need to create an Address Book and do a mail merge. There is a tutorial for this in the program's Help menu. Post back if you need clarification on those instructions.

I did a search on Amazon and found a program called The Print Shop: Labels And Logos 2009. I'm not familiar with that product. Perhaps it is just the Labels portion of the full version of The Print Shop. If so, mail merging is still the solution for auto-filling labels with different names/addresses from an address book.

Search the program's help, keyword "mail merge".

The product descriptions says, Import data from all common database file types. That definitely sounds like importing address book information, so mail merging should be a feature of this product.

Hi Ellen,
Thank You, I bought a disk from Broderbund (The Print Shop business)
Labels & Logos Premier.
I have outlook but I'm not sure how to merge my contacts into the label & logo program so I can print the labels.
If you can send me a guide on how to do it that would be very helpful. I also have microsoft word and I'm not sure how to do the labels in there either.
Thank You,
Linda

Start by reading the help menu in Outlook. Look for how to export contacts as a flat file.

This thread may help you:

However, you should read the help file in your program as the specifics probably differ between that and the full Print Shop version which uses "The Ultimate Mail Manager" address book.

Alternatively, you can use MS Word. The instructions are in the help menu of Word. That may be easier because Outlook and Word are both MicroSoft.
