Many thanks for the information and sorry I somehow missed your answer.
Can now manage horizontal cards! Just sorry my Canon printer always prints
to and fro middle of the paper, and not to the side so that I could print one
at a time on long piece of paper!

Well, I'm glad I could help although I don't know what you mean by
quote:

Does that mean your Canon is incapable of printing on custom size paper? Is the paper size a secret? This is the third time I've asked, so that I could help you with the setup, but if you don't want to tell...

Please don't start a fourth new thread to answer. Just hit the Reply button. This conversation is hard to follow.

No, my paper size is not a secret, it is ordinary Letter size 210 x 297, no Tabloid. I am just sorry
that my printer won't print half a sheet, 105 x 297, or that there is no custom size for horizontal cards
with sidefold.
Will just have to resign myself to making two cards at once or one card and waste the other half!
Many thanks for your help.

You can create a Custom Paper Stock in PrintMaster for 105 x 297, but it wouldn't be useful if your printer can't recognize that size. The restriction is your printer, not PrintMaster.

You can make do with a Brochure Project - just design on the lower half of the sheet. This way, you get to use a paper size your printer can handle and you get only one card. You just cut off the blank half after printing is finished. You were going to cut the paper anyway, but now you cut if after rather than before printing.

Nearly there! Have made a Paper Stock for 105 x 297 and printer will recognize it
but can't seem to save it.
Which Stock Type should I choose - Label, Business Card, Envelope
1/2 Fold Greeting Card, Note Card or Postcard. None of them seem to fit.

Brochure.

jinky -> RE: Horizontal cards (8/8/2014 2:41:05 AM)

As you suggested, I am trying to create a Custom Paper Stock for 105 x 297
in the Custom Paper Wizard, but on the Select Stock Type page of the Wizard
I have to choose from the seven options I quoted Label, Sticker etc., etc.
However, none of these seem to be an option which is why I asked
you which one I should choose.
Unfortunately Brochure doesn't appear in the list.

Do this - it's easier: Change your paper size to 105 x 297. Then open a new Brochure project. Skip the whole Custom Paper Wizard procedure.
