Maybe a stupid question. I just reinstalled software on my wife's new laptop and she said she leaves the Printmaster Platinum 16 disk always in the disk drive or the software
doesn't work. HUH??? I am not familiar with that. Is there something I missed at the install step? Seems a little goofy to me, all software I install is stored on the hard drive.

Let me know if there is a fix.

Thanks.

It sounds like a typical install was performed i.e. the program and some templates were installed, but the entire collection of art and projects was not. In the "old days" when hard drives stored a lot less than they do now, most people did not download all the art and projects, preferring to access them from the disk, when needed.

Here's the link to the post explaining how to install everything:

Like I said, probably a dumb question. I feel a little stupid, I should have thought of that. After installing so many pieces of software, you get used to doing a typical install and never think about running custom. Thanks for jogging my memory!

Paul

P.S. I have another issue posted regarding retrieving the address book from Printmaster after my wife's motherboard died. I have tried several suggestions but cannot find any of the files or folders suggested.
