I have Printmaster 18.
Is there any way to get it to load and function on Windows 8?
My laptop with Windows Vista crashed. Hard drive failure.
I need to publish some greeting cards.
Please help.

however, since PM 18 is not supported on Win 8, if it doesn't work, there isn't any other recommendation, I'm afraid. If you simply need to open an old PM 18 project and print it, you can send it to me. I still have PM 18 running on my XP computer. I'll convert your project into a PDF so you can print it at home.

Thanks but what I need is to create projects.
My hard drive died on my Windows Vista computer.
The thing that irritates me the most when they upgrade the Windows OS but the older programs I have don't work.
That is why I never upgraded to 7 or 8. Now they have gone to Windows 10. Giving it away free, but I would have to buy all new software. That just ain't right!
But, who cares what I think.
I do appreciate the offer however.

Good luck with the NET framework install and running in compatibility mode. Hope that works for you. If not, try your hand again with PrintMaster 6.0.

18.1 was a Windows 7 compatible edition an upgrade from 18 if my memory serves me correct.

If it's the plain "18" good luck on that. You will have more luck with the Win 7 compatible version and as ellengard suggested the Net Framework thing is a real task and can take you up to an hour to clean out those entries to prepare it to install.
