Is it possible to get a free upgrade from PM 18.0 to 18.1 or would I have to purchase the PM 18.1 program?

You would have to purchase 18.1 which was released to provide a Win 7 compatible program. 18.1 is not technically supported on Win 10 although some people may have limited success running it on Win 10.

Some stores such as Fry's Electronics and Staples / Office Depot have a Jewel Case value isle and carry these old programs. Average price for a copy is $9.99 beyond everything else, Ellengard's advice is spot on.

Thank you for your help.
Greatly appreciated.
V6 would have been great if I could have tranferred items from one project to another,
OR if I could have taken a project and altered it for another person/purpose.
However, once you put it together, it was set in stone and you couldn't have
more than one project available to work on at a time.
I was so disappointed. I have been using Printmaster since Printmaster Gold.
Advancement is not always better.
I am still using Vista so I am skeptical about trying v7.

But you can! Edit> Change Project Size/Type... Then save as to give this project a new name.

But can you edit the text after wards?
I might just be used to PM 18, I don't know.
I know you can't have two projects where you can transfer text boxes, Headlines etc. from one project to another.
I'm probably not describing what I want to do properly.
I may install it again and see what I can do.
My hard drive died and I just never installed v6 again because I couldn't do what I wanted to with it.

Yes. Watch this video - it shows how easy it is to change the project type or size. Then it shows how you can further edit the text and graphics. Just make sure you save as and rename, so that you don't overwrite your original project.

For the HD version, hover over the video, then hover over the setting icon. Click HD.

Thanks. I'll give it a try and see how I do.

I have been running Printmaster 18 for years on Windows 10. I just upgraded to windows 11. Now Printmaster 18 won't run on it.
Is there a work around so I can use printmaster 18?
I have Printmaster v8 but for labels, printmaster 18 is simpler and easier to use.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
