I'm having a new problem with CC. I just created a 2020 calendar to edit for next year. After I saved the calendar on my desktop I archived it to my Calendar Creator directory within DOCUMENTS. Normally I would then use the archived copy to edit and delete the original. It continues to open the original. However CC locks up when I try to open any copies in the archive directory. It won't even open 2019 calendars in the archive. I've made a video of this issue but it is too large to attach (3 MB). Several times, when I try to close, the locked up CC I get a JAVA error on the screen. I was not able to capture the error box. Please see if this can be corrected. It is a wonderful product. I never found an equal. I've used Calendar Creator way back to the original. Thanks!

You are in the correct forum if your program is the one that is powered by StoryRock. This particular program is quite different from the CC program that creates BCC files.

I suspect that the StoryRock version can only open the original file. I don't have this program, but I know someone who does, so I'll ask him to confirm that the behavior that you are seeing is normal.

Do you see blank events in your calendars everytime you open it? Just wondering.

I found the solution. I use software that protects certain directories from any access other than system authorized logins. Last year I moved my old calendars to this directory for protection. All of my other software is able to access and modify files in this directory except Calendar Creator (2016 Release). When I moved the files back to another directory everything began to work. It appears the security software does not recognize Calendar Creator as an authorized application. I don't know why. I'm checking to see if I can manually add Calendar Creator to a whitelist that the protection software uses.

It was not a Calendar Creator (2016 Release) problem at all.
