The Oz -> Rendering and resizing (3/14/2020 5:32:54 PM)

Am I the only one that has trouble resizing objects/text boxes/etc. When I try to grab the corner and expand the object, I never know what it will do - get very tall and thin, wide and high, long and thin, ???. The resize by percentage has been removed by some idiot. Sorry, but, no one that used the previous versions would have done that. It takes a long time(several seconds) to even get the program to respond, then it is so jerky it takes more time to get any results because one never knows where the object will end up.

Why does it take so long to "RENDER" a project? To open a simple calendar, with no graphics, pictures, special features, only a few text boxes, it literally(I have timed it) takes 3 minutes.

Any suggestions on how to fix these programs? When I contacted support a while back, I was told that an update was coming out to fix these problems. So far(several months later) I can find no such update. Only thing I have found is: If my version is older than 5.0.0.3, there is an update to this version. My version is 5.0.0.0, but, checking for updates says I am up to date. Maybe I don't understand(I am a GRAY HAIR).

Any help will be appreciated.

It does sound like your program is not running correctly - maybe a corrupted install? Do you recall if you turned off anti-virus for the duration of the install?

Regarding resizing - if you hold down the shift key and drag a corner, the image will maintain its aspect ratio.

I am using my Print Shop 5.0 program right now. It shows as version 5.0.0.4. A ready-made card project rendered immediately. All objects resize smoothly. I am thinking you need to do a clean install as well as the update. Perhaps it won't update because your current installation is corrupted.
