We had a recent power outage which caused some Windows files corruptions with resulting "critical errors" and the dreaded blue screen of death. Our computer guy got our computer back up and running, however, I can't get CKSD to even open. So I plan to reinstall, but I need to back up the Address Book first.

I feel silly asking, but where is this file? Maybe I'm having a brain freeze. I've looked in every folder and I searched for *.abk which found my PrintMaster Address Book, but that is just a test file where I try out stuff in order to figure out Address Book problems for other forum users.

I used CKSD to create a real Address Book because CKSD is my newest Broderbund program with all the latest features.

Help, please! I really want to start using my CKSD program again.

Check this location: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Broderbund Software\Print\Scrapbook Designer\1.0\Books

That's where I find mine in my working program. Good luck with getting back up and running, lindarobin.
