I own the pro publisher deluxe version 12 of print shop. Is there a way to use this program to lower the dpi of the HQ photos I have, so I can post them in my web site.
As they are, they take an awful long time to stream once they are in the web site. I have been told that for internet posting of photos, they must be compressed to aprox 70 dpi.
Please advise if you can help.

Does PrintShop12 let you export as JPG? If yes, import the photo to the blank page project. With the photo selected, File| Export As... choose JPG and edit the pixel dimensions below. (Typically, an image about a quarter the width of the screen is about 200 dpi wide.)

If you forget to select the photo, you will end up creating a JPG of the entire blank page project.

Creating resampled copies of photos can also be done in MS Paint.

If PS12 has the webpage project, you can import all your photos to a blank web page project and publish to folder. The program will automatically create low res versions of all the photos which you can retrieve from the folder. You may have to give it a couple of tries to experiment with resizing the photos. I think the older version programs web page projects converted all photos to GIF which is not a good format for photos, so hopefully, your version will keep the JPG format.
