Hi James, What you are seeing is not a glitch, and you probably aren't doing anything wrong. Many Hoyle games, and many games produced by other software manufacturers, are intentionally designed in such a way that the game will not work properly unless the CD is in the drive. The apparent intent of this design is to prevent the illegal sharing of the games with others. So, although many files are installed on the hard drive, some critical files will remain only on the CD. You may also find that some games which require the CD to be in the drive will also prevent the user from copying the CD (I found this to be true of the Harry Potter games from EA Games).
