I'm using Printshop 21 Deluze. I saved a brochure and sent it to a printer but none of the text showed up when he opened the file. How do I embedd the fonts when saving as a PDF?

The Broderbund PDF convertor can't embed fonts. Instead, it renders your project as one large image. That means you can see an arrangement of dots that look like text, but there is actually no text that can be selected and copied to say, NotePad.

I don't know what PDF convertor to recommend that will embed the actual font. Although I use the free convertor from www.cutePDF.com it can't embed the fonts in Broderbund created projects even though it DOES embed the fonts in MicroSoft projects.
