I would like to learn how to use an image as background. I tried adjusting Brightness and Focus with limited success. What I want is illustrated in PrintShop 21, QuickStart Layout, Valentine (wife), Planting Seeds, inside.

Select your image, click the Color icon (looks like a rainbow bar), click Object, the More button in the Color Palette box, click Define Custom Colors, this expands the box. See the slider on the right-hand side? Move the slider up to lighten your image like a watermark.
