Print shop 22 I have created an envelope with merge fields from UMM address book. Prints fine except that the names and print order are in first name sequence. A real pain where the sun don't shine. How can I print these envelopes in last name or zip code sequence? It would make it easier to stuff the envelopes if they were in last name sequence instead of first name.

If your plan is to print the Names and Addresses on a Print Shop Mail Merge Project (labels, name tags, postcards, envelopes, etc.), the Names and Addresses will always be printed alphabetically by First Name. And, there's nothing that can be done about that - because that's the way Print Shop was designed to function.

There has been some discussion about this in the past on this forum. And, the final conclusion was that the only way to print Names and Addresses on a Print Shop Mail Merge project so that the project is printed alphabetically by last name would be to create the Name and Address File with the first and last names reversed (First Name in Last Name field and Last Name in First Name field).

However, if your plan is to print the Names and Addresses on envelopes in Print Shop's Ultimate Mail Manager Address Book program, and if you are using the Printing Wizard (which is accessed by selecting either 'Print Preview' or 'Print' in the Ultimate Mail Manager 'File' menu), you will reach a point in the Printing Wizard where you will be able to select the 'Sort by' option. And, the Sort By option will allow you to sort and print alphabetically by individual fields (i.e. First Name, Last Name, State, City, etc.).
