I just purchased this game. When I complete level 5 round 4, it locks up at the start of level 6. It has done this twice in a row in the same spot. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

That's funny. I have not seen this issue yet. Are you sure your drivers are up to date and everything else on your computer is?

Thanks for the quick response! I believe my drivers are up to date. My system is a little under two years old, I believe. I'll doublecheck though. Thanks again.

My Qbert game is also freezing at the beginning of level 6. It has done it every time so far that I have tried to play. I have Windows Vista Ultimate, and it is supposed to work on it. Any ideas, yet? Thanks.

Hi jamcava,

Have you done as TMLFAN4LIFE recommended above and checked to see if your drivers are up to date?

Click on this link for information about that

Updating Video Card Driver: 2000/XP/Vista/7/Mac OS X 10.4.0 and later

When you installed Q*Bert, did you do a 'clean' install, exactly as described in this FAQ

'Clean' Install on Win98/Me/XP/2000/Vista/Win7

If you did not do so, your Q*Bert installation might be corrupt. And, in that case, I would recommend that you do this

A. Click on this link

Uninstalling Software: Thoroughly & Safely

and follow the directions in that FAQ

B. Click on this link

Computer Cleanup on WinXP, WinVista & Win7

and follow the directions in that FAQ

C. Click on this link

'Clean' Install on Win98/Me/XP/2000/Vista/Win7

and follow the directions in that FAQ

Ouch. Mine locked up too Brandy. Of course ive tried the obvious to clear this up.

I tried another online version of the game which was a 60 minute demo and it seems to not do that since its an updated build.
