I bought Monopoly Windows version 1.0 at a big box store and played a few days then as of yesterday 8/4 McAfee tells me it has detected a trojan. When I investigated through McAfee it seems that they had updated their virus deff. for this trojan on 8/4. The trojan is swizzor.gen.c. I have already submitted an online request to Encore. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem.
You are the first person to post about a problem caused by McAfee. Everybody who posted about the problem with Scrabble was using AVG. But, it is important to keep in mind that this problem is very likely the result of a false alarm only and is not the result of an actual problem with the Encore software.
Since you have confirmed that the problem was caused by the McAfee 8/4 virus definition update, you will have to go back to McAfee for a fix - because Encore Technical Support cannot fix McAfee's mistake. And, only McAfee will be able to provide a workaround for the problem.
