I have contact Hasbro on this issue, and they referred me to Encore (manufacturer, distributer, supporter)
I love the addictive quality of this game, I turn the volume low and can play for hours, but this lately has made me dislike playing it.

How come I can't see the dice rolls for the computer's turn? I mean the actual number, not the moves around board??
It seems FAIR if I see my dice rolls [I looked in the options, but it only shows the actual moves around board, not dice rolls and number]

Call me a conspiracy theorist or whateva, BUT sometimes it seems to strategically land where it wants; like it's a possessed HAL.

Why doesn't it show the dice roll number in the bank history notes?

Is this just a flaw in the game?

Also the PPC mobile version shows dice rolls of all players, so no "cheating" computer.

Hi hypeguru,

Since I do not see the dice rolls, either - for both Monopoly Here & Now and Monopoly by Parker Brothers - that pretty much tells me that the programmers intentionally designed the games that way.

Unfortunately, only the programmers know why the dice rolls are not displayed for the computer's turn. And, it is a known fact that Programmers seldom explain to users their reasoning for the way the software is designed.

However, since this is a user-to-user forum, which is manned only by volunteers, and since the programmers never monitor this forum, those of us who help on this forum will be unable to specifically answer your questions.

Okay thanks.
I sent in a request to Broderbund lets see if they respond "within 48 hours."

BTW I only saw "Monopoly 2008," not "Here and Now;" so I chose that.

Hi hypeguru,

The Monopoly games can get a bit confusing.

Monopoly 2008 is the same product as Monopoly by Parker Brothers. And, both Monopoly 2008 and Monopoly Here and Now were originally created by Hasbro. So, I find it rather confusing that Hasbro would refer you to Encore - because the Monopoly programs were designed by Hasbro. The only thing that Encore does is package and sell the Monopoly products.

However, where you said this:

I sent in a request to Broderbund lets see if they respond "within 48 hours."

if you sent in an actual Technical Support request, it is very unlikely that you will get any specific answers from Technical Support - because your problem is not a true Technical Problem. And, it is very unlikely that Technical Support would know the answer to your question.

And, if you selected the 'Feedback/Suggestions' in the 'Category' box, as is described in the "How to submit Feedback/Suggestions/Gripes" FAQ that I recommended in my earlier reply, you will want to make special note of the comment in that FAQ where it says that the Development Team does not normally reply when users submit Feedback/Suggestions/Gripes.
