Problem Connection manager component is missing. Re-install application to install this component Solution When running American Greetings® CreataCard® 8, the following message appears: "Connection manager component is missing. Re-install application to install this component." This issue typically occurs when system corruption has occurred, or when Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.0 (or later) is not installed. Installing (or reinstalling) Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.0 (or later) will help to resolve this issue. View the remainder of this note for more information. The latest version of Microsoft® Internet Explorer can be downloaded from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/products/ie-9/home?ocid=ie9_bow_Google&WT.srch=1&mtag=SearGoogle NOTE: If the latest version of Microsoft® Internet Explorer is already installed, reinstall the program. When the installation of Microsoft® Internet Explorer is complete, restart the computer before launching American Greetings® CreataCard® 8 Platinum. Locating the Version Number of Microsoft® Internet Explorer 1. Launch Microsoft® Internet Explorer. 2. Click Help in the menu bar at the top of the screen and choose About Internet Explorer. An About Internet Explorer window will open. 3. Record the version number listed in the window and check the Microsoft® website for IE updates.
