Math Advantage Deluxe - 4/2/2011 1:36:59 PM    zinger   Posts: 1 Joined: 4/2/2011 Status: offline Reloaded the CDs onto my an XP-Home computer. They did not work. Used the compatability tool to reset to Windows 95. Still software does not link properly and has Script error with "Handler not identified." Each time I open it I have to indicate the "movie" or intro file. It does not go past the name entry point. Redirecting to a different movie source allows further use but no lectures after the section is selected - still a script error. How do I allow these links to work? Post #: 1

RE: Math Advantage Deluxe - 4/2/2011 3:03:56 PM    Brandy redux Posts: 2376 Joined: 2/7/2007 Status: offline Hi zinger, When I checked amazon.com, I discovered that Math Advantage Deluxe was originally designed for only these Operating Systems: Windows NT / 98 / 2000 / Me / 95, Mac, Linux, Unix And, where you said this: "Used the compatibility tool to reset to Windows 95." You might want to keep in mind that since Windows 98 is listed in the Minimum System Requirements for Math Advantage Deluxe, you might want to reset the compatibility tool to Windows 98. If you have never before successfully installed Math Advantage Deluxe on a WinXP computer, it is possible that Math Advantage Deluxe cannot be successfully installed on a WinXP computer - because it is a known fact that many programs which were designed for Win95 and Win98 cannot be successfully installed on WinXP - even when Compatibility mode is used. If you were able to successfully install Math Advantage Deluxe on a WinXP computer in the past, you should be able to do so again.
