What kind of file can you produce with this program? ie, .pdf, Word, .rtf, .txt? If .pdf are all the "security" switches open to us?

Hi Jack,

The 'Save' and 'Save as' options do nothing more than to save the selected document to your User Profile, which is an *.flp file. However, individual documents can be exported to either rich text format (.RTF) or Adobe PDF format (.PDF).

Since I am not familiar with the *.pdf "security" switches you asked about, I cannot comment on those. The only thing that I can tell you for certain is that when a Home & Business Lawyer document is exported to *.pdf, it is saved to the selected folder on your hard drive. And, all that is required to open that *.pdf file is to double-click on it.
