Hoyle Backgammon Games will run on Windows 8 , the preferred method for a hassle free installation is as follows:

1. Start Windows 8 and log in with an administrator account.

2. At the start tile screen click on the desktop tile.

3. Insert the Hoyle Backgammon Games Disc

4. Once the disc is loaded a notification tile appears at the top right. Click on the option that says "Browse for Files and Folders"

5. Double Click on the HoyleBackgammon1-0-0 File in the folder. If you get a shield icon that appears at the task bar, click it and okay the install.

6. Once you are finished , a Hoyle Backgammon Icon appears on the desktop. You may double click this icon to start the program.

PLEASE NOTE : THIS TITLE WILL NOT RUN ON WINDOWS RT.
